Outlander Producer Matthew Roberts has revealed the issues around filming at Lallybroch , real life Midhope Castle : “Lallybroch, it’s a real place, it’s not a set that we built, it’s Midhope Castle. “When we first started filming there, it was relatively simple to find time, our location manager would go and schedule and there’d be no problem. If you’re visiting Scotland why not take a tour to Lallybroch ? Outlander Season 8 will be filmed entirely in Scotland ….
